UK product studio · Rethink now in private beta
We find problems worth solving. Then we build.
Marbury Studios researches real-world problems, invents products around them, and tests what works.
Now in private beta
Most revision tools tell you what you got wrong. Rethink learns how.
For A-level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. The Rethink Marking Engine tags every mistake in your answers, finds the ones you keep making — then sets practice on exactly that.

Recurring pattern
Method is secure. Marks are lost at the end of calculations — the final answer drops or changes its unit.
Mark loss by cause
- Wrong or missing unit42%
- Calculation slip27%
- Incomplete chain of reasoning19%
- Couldn’t recall the definition12%
Targeted practice
- 5 targeted questions: units in energetics calculations
- Redo Paper 2 Q3 — carry the unit through every step
- Rate equations — explain each link, not just the answer
Find your patterns
Recurring mistakes across your answers that a single mark can’t reveal.
Understand why
Knowledge gaps separated from slips in units, calculations and command words.
Practise the weak spot
Targeted practice questions built from the pattern Rethink found.
Track change
Your Progress page shows whether a pattern is actually fading.
How it works
Every piece of work adds to the picture.
Standard marking tells you which answer was wrong. Rethink is built to notice how you keep getting things wrong.
- 01
Upload
An exam answer, typed or photographed.
- 02
Analyse
The Rethink Marking Engine tags every mistake.
- 03
Connect
Patterns found across all your answers.
- 04
Adapt
Targeted practice on the weak spot, next.
The difference
What normal marking misses.
What normal marking tells you
- —Which question was wrong
- —Which topic was weak
- —What score you got
Each paper, marked in isolation.
What Rethink learns over time
- You drop units on final answers
- Your method is right, but calculations slip at the last step
- “Explain” answers stop one link short of the full reasoning
- You misread values from graphs and tables
Read across everything you’ve handed in.
Pattern detection
One mistake is a mistake. Repeated mistakes are a pattern.
Rethink reads across your work to find the weaknesses individual marks can’t show.
Correct method
Final answer has no unit
Right calculation
Wrong unit for rate
Full working shown
Answer left without units
You repeatedly lose marks at the very end — the working is right, but the final answer is missing its unit or has the wrong one.
Rethink sets targeted practice on units.
Private beta
Help us build it properly.
Rethink is in private beta with A-level students. Beta testers use it on their own answers and tell us what works — closer to product development than a waiting list.

Before you join
Things people usually ask first.
01Who can take part?
A-level students taking Biology, Chemistry or Maths. Those are the subjects Rethink supports today, starting with the Edexcel specifications. Bring your own past-paper answers, so there is nothing extra to prepare.
02What does the beta involve?
Once you have an invite, you use Rethink on your own answers and tell us what is useful, what is confusing and what is missing. That feedback goes straight to the people building it.
03Does it cost anything?
No. Taking part is free and voluntary. It creates no obligation to buy anything later, and no obligation on us to release a product on a particular date.
04What happens to my work and details?
Details you send through this site are used to arrange your beta access, nothing else. We do not sell or share them for marketing, and this site sets no cookies or trackers. Answers you submit inside Rethink itself are covered by Rethink’s own privacy notice. The full detail is in our privacy policy.
05Can I stop?
Yes — at any time, for any reason, without notice. Just tell us.
06Can I use Rethink now?
It is in private beta, by invite. Request access through the form below and we will be in touch.
Inside the studio
We research more problems than we build.
Not everything becomes a product — the point is to find the few worth committing to. The same six moves, every time.
- 01Private beta
Rethink
Revision that learns how a student loses marks, and turns that into what to practise next. A-level Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
- 02Researching
Trades
How tradespeople scope and price a job before the first site visit. Research only.
- 03Exploring
Next
New problem areas we're reading into. Nothing committed yet.
The process
- 01
Research
Understand the problem from the people who have it.
- 02
Validate
Find evidence it matters — often, and enough.
- 03
Invent
Explore solutions that could actually be better.
- 04
Build
Turn the strongest idea into a working concept.
- 05
Test
Put it in front of real users, early.
- 06
Iterate
Keep what works. Change or drop what doesn't.
